Patrick H. King, MD

Dr. King was born in Sioux City, Iowa and raised in Yankton, South Dakota. He graduated from Yankton High School then graduated from Mount Marty College. He next earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri in 1979 and completed his ophthalmology residency at Washington University, Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri in 1983.

He has practiced with Willcockson Eye Associates since then and has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at University of South Dakota School of Medicine.

He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. King’s hobbies include golf, bowling and running. He has competed in the New York, Boston, Minneapolis and other marathons. He currently competes in selected Professional Bowling Association Tournaments around the country. He is married and has two daughters.
