Premium Intraocular Lens Implants (IOL) Our doctors and staff can educate you on the features and benefits of the premium IOLs now available and if you are a candidate for the one or more of the premium IOLs. There is an extra charge for the premium lenses over and above what insurance or Medicare will pay that would be yours to pay out-of-pocket. Many people believe the additional investment is worthwhile to reduce their dependence on glasses.
